Shana Maleeff, MA, RD, CDN, ACE-GFI, received a BS in Nutrition from Penn State University and an MA in Nutrition Education from Immaculata University in Pennsylvania. She works on Long Island coaching clients on nutrition, fitness, weight management, disease prevention, and lifestyle modification to help them actualize their best selves. She also uses a clinically proven weight loss program to help people see real results. In addition, she teaches group fitness classes like Cycling, Sculpting, Barre, and TRX at Equinox on Long Island. She was the expert nutrition columnist for military.com, expert nutritionist for Urban Extreme- a world-renowned fitness program, and has been quoted in magazines like SELF and Cosmopolitan. Eleana Kaidanian, RD, CDN, CPT-WFS
Eleana is passionate about the relationship with food, exercise, and overall well-being. She takes great pride in her role as an educator, helping individuals and families achieve long-lasting health and wellness. As a provider of medical nutrition therapy, Kaidanian’s clinical experience includes working in hospitals, extended care and rehabilitation centers, community centers, as well as high-risk maternity clinics. She is a frequent contributor in Pregnancy and Newborn Magazine’s “Ask the Experts” column, providing the latest nutritional recommendations and feeding guidelines from conception to lactation and newborn to toddler stages. Kaidanian is an active corporate wellness trainer and performs seminars on an array of topics related to nutrition, fitness, and overall health to employees of small and large businesses throughout New York.
In 2012, her role as an educator went from a local to national level, when she worked as the nutrition education coordinator of the Healthy Eating for Children Nutrition Education Program. This program is a K-12 educational program launched by Yeshiva University in NYC, and has been implemented in day-schools throughout the United States.
Kaidanian is a Registered Dietitian, New York State Certified Dietitian Nutritionist, NASM Certified Personal Trainer and NASM Women’s Fitness Specialist. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at New York University and completed her clinical dietetic internship at Northwell Health (formerly North Shore–LIJ). She is also certified in CPR/AED through the American Red Cross.
